South Central Railway General Manager Vinod Kumar Yadav on Saturday surprised his colleagues and passengers at Kacheguda railway station when he conducted a surprise inspection and even travelled in the Chennai-Egmore Express till Jadcherla to check the prevailing conditions.
Mr. Yadav inspected the passenger amenities, station manager’s room and booking offices at Kacheguda railway station.
Visits sleeper coaches
Later, during his train travel, he checked the bed linen being provided in the AC coaches and interacted with the passengers and took their feddback. He also visited the sleeper coaches and enquired about the facilities and the improvements needed from the travellers. In the return direction, the GM travelled by the Kurnool City- Kacheguda Tungabadra Express where he once again interacted with the passengers.
DRM Hyderabad Arun Kumar Jain accompanied him during the inspection. Rail enthusiasts and passengers tweeted about GM’s surprise inspection in their respective Twitter accounts, a press release said.
