Xiaomi announced the Redmi Y1 Lite smartphone with 2GB RAM and 16GB storage capacity in India at a price point of Rs. 6,999. The smartphone will be available via Amazon India and Mi.com on November 8.

Xiaomi has announced that after going on sale via online, the Redmi Y1 and Redmi Y1 Lite will be made available via the offline stores too. The biggest highlight of the Redmi Y1 Lite is the presence of the 16MP front-facing camera at the front with LED flash.

The selfie camera has the Beautify 3.0 feature that will let you capture perfect selfie shots.
