Singapore Amaravati Investment Holdings Pvt Ltd (SAIH), a joint venture company comprising Ascendas-Singbridge and Sembcorp Development, the German Agribusiness Alliance at German Asia-Pacific Business Association (OAV), and the Andhra Pradesh Economic Development Board signed a memorandum of understanding in New Delhi on Friday to establish a task force to support Andhra Pradesh in its development of food and agriculture sectors.

Within one year, efforts would be made to identify up to three agri-products for the establishment of suitable industries and draw up action plans to achieve the target.

Strategies, policies and plans would be formulated to enable collaboration among private and public participants in Andhra Pradesh, Germany and Singapore for the promotion of technology, trade, business co-operation and investments in the food and agriculture sectors.
