It has been a long wait for Ph. D aspirants, who had sat for the common entrance examination conducted by Madurai Kamaraj University, since the university was yet to announce the results.
The written examination was conducted on the third week of August. For those interested in doing Ph. D in Business Administration, Commerce and English but missed the entrance examination were provided another chance to apply and the written examination for them was conducted in the second week of September.
After a considerable delay, the interview for all those who sat for the written examination was conducted on October 7. Though the results for M. Phil entrance examination, conducted around the same dates, were announced albeit delay, the university was yet to announce the results for Ph. D.
When contacted, the VC P.P. Chellathurai said that all the work had been completed and the results would be announced in a few days.
