Amidst confusion and delay, mock drills conducted in Dehradun

Mock drill for disaster preparedness was conducted at several places in Dehradun. These mock drills were held at Crossroads Mall, Orient Cinema and Natraj Cinema. Few confusions led to delay at the beginning of the mock drill at Crossroads Mall. Similar confusion and delay was seen in the other locations identified for the drill — Orient Cinema at Astley Hall and Natraj Cinema on Chakrata Road. Although the operation was scheduled to start at 6:30 pm, the rescue teams arrived on the spot at all the places well after 7:15pm.
