Two tankers carrying industrial effluents seized

HYDERABAD:  Two tanker lorries carrying industrial effluents were seized by the Telangana State Pollution Control Board on Thursday. The two tanker lorries were handed over to Medchal police.  As per Medchal police, one tanker was caught when it was parked at Medak bus stop and the other was caught when it was on the move. However, driver of only one of the tankers could be nabbed while the other managed to flee. 

The TSPCB officials said that the nabbed driver did not reveal any details and did not know as to which company the effluent belonged to.  However, as per interrogation till then, it is suspected that the tankers were coming from Chegunta.  The officials along with the Medchal police are verifying facts before registering a case.
