OM Metals Infraprojects has clarified that neither Sunil Kothari nor the company has anything to do with the Augusta Westland case. “We are nowhere connected with this matter,” it said in a clarification notice to the stock exchanges and added the Central Bureau of Investigation conducted a routine search. After hitting a year high of ₹84.45, shares of OM Metals fell to close at ₹72.60, down 11.63 per cent on the NSE.
The board of Nitin Fire Protection Industries on Friday approved alteration of the capital clause of the Memorandum of Association (MoA) for increase in authorised share capital, disposal or transfer of all or part of the shares in Nitin Ventures FZE, UAE, its subsidiary and sale or transfer of all or part of 40 per cent shares in its associate company Worthington Nitin Cylinders Private Ltd. The board also approved a proposal for raising funds up to ₹500 crore through issue of securities to qualified institutional buyers on QIP basis; and/or via issue of equity shares including convertible bonds/ debentures/ warrants/ depository receipts up to ₹500 crore on preferential basis. Shares of Nitin Fire gained 2.6 per cent at ₹7.8 on the NSE.
The board of Godrej Properties on Friday approved a scheme for merger of Godrej Real Estate Private Limited, a wholly-owned subsidiary, with itself. The Scheme of Amalgamation is subject to requisite statutory and regulatory approvals, including approval from the National Company Law Tribunal. The stock of Godrej Properties edged down 0.7 per cent a ₹718.10 on the NSE.
