Fan have been waiting with bated breath for Ali Abbas Zafar directorial Tiger Zinda Hai, starring Salman Khan and Katrina Kaif, ever since its announcement. The regular updates from the Tiger Zinda Hai team about Salman and Katrina’s whereabouts have already piqued fans’ interest. But now, we at indianexpress.com have got our hands on an exciting new detail which will give fans another reason to watch this edge-of-the-seat entertainer.

Just like its predecessor, Tiger Zinda Hai focuses on delivering some world-class level action sequences that have never been seen before in a Bollywood film. And in that regard, the team has roped in Tom Struthers who has also worked in Batman: The Dark Knight, to design the fight scenes for the film.

The Tiger Zinda Hai team had shot an extensive schedule in Abu Dhabi, especially some action sequences. And for the purpose, choppers, jets, army vehicles, and heavy artillery from the Emirates’ army were at YRF’s disposal.

Salman can be seen shooting out of a flying car in this new still revealed by the makers. Even Katrina looks all geared up while posing with the cast and crew.

Talking about Tom Stutters, director Ali Abbas Zafar said, “Tom is a master of high octane action sequences and here, his brief was to create action that is both larger than life and yet, realistic. He has delivered sequences that will stay with audiences for a long time.” Struthers also explains further, “We’ve had to create a lot of explosions for the film. We’ve blown up fifteen vehicles, of which four are moving vehicles. One of them is a 40 tonne truck which made a lot of noise when it blew up! What was difficult to make (referring to the action sequences), actually feels beautiful to watch now. The action that has been created for Tiger Zinda Hai is good as any other film that I have done.”

Bankrolled by Yash Raj Films, this Salman-Katrina espionage drama releases on Dec 22.
