NEW DELHI: Most of the FMCG stocks, including Godrej Consumer Products (down 1.76 per cent), Emami (down 1.47 per cent) and Dabur India (down 0.90 per cent) were trading in the red in afternoon trade on Friday.

The Nifty FMCG index was trading 0.04 per cent down at 25,813 around 01:40 pm (IST).

Godrej Industries (down 0.62 per cent), Tata Global Beverages (down 0.51 per cent), Marico (down 0.40 per cent) and GlaxoSmithKline Consumer Healthcare (down 0.33 per cent) also witnessed decline in their share prices.

However, shares of United Breweries (up 3.42 per cent), Procter & Gamble Hygiene & Healthcare (up 0.53 per cent), Britannia Industries (up 0.25 per cent) and ITC (up 0.21 per cent) were trading up around that time.

Benchmark NSE Nifty50 index was up 21.40 points at 10445. BSE Sensex was up 74 points at 33647.
