Chennai, rain-drenched: Heavy rains lash Chennai

Heavy rains overnight have led to a flood-like situation in Chennai. Most parts of the city are waterlogged. This has refreshed memories of the 2015 floods. Schools, colleges as well as IT firms remain shut. The MET department has said that the rains will continue and its unlikely that the situation will improve in the next 24 hours.
