NEW DELHI: The Nifty Pharma index was trading as the top loser among the sectoral indices on NSE in Friday's trade.

The Nifty Pharma index was trading 1.10 per cent down at 9,894 around 10:35 am (IST).

Shares of Cadila Healthcare (down 2.60 per cent), Glenmark Pharmaceuticals (down 2.42 per cent), Divi's Laboratories (down 2.40 per cent), Sun Pharmaceutical Industries (down 1.53 per cent), Lupin (down 1.25 per cent) and Aurobindo Pharma (down 0.62 per cent) were the top losers in the pharma index which had all components in the red.

Benchmark NSE Nifty50 index was 12 points up at 10,435, while the BSE Sensex was 36 points up at 33,610.

Among the 51 stocks in the Nifty50 index, 21 were trading in the green, while 29 were in the red.

Shares of Idea Cellular, SAIL, PNB, BHEL, Bharti Airtel, Power Grid, YES Bank, SBI, DLF, ICICI Bank, Hindalco, Vedanta Ltd were among the most traded securities on the National Stock Exchange.

Shares of Bharti Airtel, YES Bank, Oil and Natural Gas Corporation, IndusInd Bank, Axis Bank and Ambuja Cements were among the top gainers in the Nifty50 index.

However, Power Grid, Sun Pharma, Lupin, Eicher Motors, Coal India and Bharat Petroleum Corporation were the top losers in the Nifty50 index.
