Twitter erupts as Trump's account 'inadvertently deactivated' by a rogue Twitter employee
"Earlier today @realdonaldtrump's account was inadvertently deactivated due to human error by a Twitter employee," the company said in a tweet.

Thursday was a special day for the world of internet in more than one ways. At one side of the spectrum, bitcoin surged past the psychological barrier of USD 7,000 intraday; on the other side, US President Donald Trump’s Twitter account was deactivated for a short period!
As the evening drew closer (in the US), the world of Twitter with its 330 million residents was without the US president for full eleven minutes. Trump’s Twitter account which he uses to announce his intention to destroy “Rocket Man”, declare every news piece criticising him as fake news and come up with covfefe moments—all with equal tenacity—was deactivated by a Twitter employee on the last day at the company.
Twitter on Thursday evening in a statement informed, “Earlier today @realdonaldtrump’s account was inadvertently deactivated due to human error by a Twitter employee.”
Earlier today @realdonaldtrump’s account was inadvertently deactivated due to human error by a Twitter employee. The account was down for 11 minutes, and has since been restored. We are continuing to investigate and are taking steps to prevent this from happening again.

For those 11 minutes, a visit to his account was met with a message saying, “@realDonaldTrump does not exist!”

Two hours later, Twitter came up with another statement saying that after investigating they found that “this was done by a Twitter customer support employee who did this on the employee’s last day.” The social media giant added that they were conducting a “full internal review.”
Expectedly, users on Twitter were not letting this moment slip from their hands. More than one user said that the company should rehire the employee and give raise or bonus. They should get a bonus.

Many others were thanking the employee for the act and a few declared him/her to be a “national hero!”Hire that employee back and give them a raise and promotion

While others wanted to buy the employee beer…Not all heroes wear capes.

However, there were few who saw this as an attack on free speech, pointing out that as a citizen, Tump has equal rights.I'd like to buy them a beer, or two ...or three.
