BIDAR: Muslims residents of Dhannura K village in Karnataka are facing a tough time trying to take their deceased kin to their final resting place.

The community has no burial ground in the village, and instead has to cross the Chulaki Nala Reservoir backwater to reach the graveyard.

The villagers allege that though they have brought the issue to the notice of the district administration several times, they were not taken seriously.

The community has been facing this issue for the past five-six years, said a local resident, Iqramodine Khadiwale.
