The Union Public Service Commission (UPSC) on Wednesday declared the result of National Defence Academy and Naval Academy Examination (II) 2017. The examination was held on September 10.

Candidates who have cleared the exam have qualified for interview by the Services Selection Board (SSB) of the Ministry of Defence for admission to Army, Navy and Air Force Wings of the National Defence Academy for the 140th Course and for the 102nd Indian Naval Academy Course (INAC) commencing from 2nd July, 2018.
The commission has also issued a press note along with the result. Candidates should read it carefully and follow the instructions provided.
Approximately, 390 posts will be filled through this exam: 335 for the National Defence Academy (208 for the Indian Army, 72 for the Indian Air Force, 55 for the Indian Navy) and 55 posts for the Indian Naval Academy.
Admission to these courses will be made on the basis of results of the written examination followed by intelligence and personality test by the Services Selection Board.
