According to 9News Denver, Thornton Police Department PIO Matt Barnes, has said that they do not have a suspect in custody in the Walmart shooting.

At least two people have been killed and one has been wounded in the shooting inside a Walmart store in suburban Denver on Wednesday, police said.
Thornton Police Department did not immediately release any information about the circumstances of the shooting or who was responsible for it.
In a Twitter post the police said investigators had confirmed that two men were dead and a woman was taken to a local hospital, but no further details were given.
The situation appeared potentially ominous from authorities' initial reports.

Reports of shots fired came shortly before 6:30 pm (local time) Mountain Time, a police spokesman told local 9NEWS in Denver, Reuters is reporting.
Local television images showed a number of police cars and ambulances surrounding the store, lights flashing.
The Thornton Police Department have now confirmed that 2 men have been killed and 1 woman has been injured in the shooting incident.
The Thornton Police Department has said that there is no active shooter "at this time".
However, they have called it an "active crime scene".
"We've got multiple parties down, we're still trying to ascertain what their conditions are," Officer Victor Avila of the Thornton Police Department told Reuters.
The store had been "self-evacuated" by customers and employees who fled following the gunfire, Avila said.
