New Delhi, Nov 2: We Indians love politics. Don't we? After all, politics runs in our veins. While we blame politicians for playing 'dirty', every day we do the same things, of course not in Parliament, but within the confines of our homes and offices.
If that much of 'politics' does not make us happy, we tune into our television sets to get ourselves immersed in loud political debates. Then again, these days, no conversation is complete without talking and arguing over Prime Minister Narendra Modi and his bête noire Congress vice-president Rahul Gandhi.

So, if you want more of 'politics', then how about enjoying a political satire online?
Since television has become little outdated and for our daily dose of entertainment we are depending more and more on online content, here comes a web series titled "The Ministry".
The web series, the brainchild of popular comedy group All India Bakchod or AIB and award-winning actor Irrfan, will be released on Amazon Prime Video worldwide in 2018.
"The series, created by AIB founder-member Gursimran Khamba, has been described as a 'political satire set in contemporary India's corridors of power'," reported Scroll.in.
"It follows Irrfan as a has-been film star who suddenly finds himself appointed as the Union Minister of Culture. Through his new role, he tries to win back the love of the masses," added Scroll.in.
The actor and the comedy group have worked together previously when they made two viral videos, Bollywood Party Song and Dank Irrfan.
This is for the first time when actor Irrfan and AIB are going to try their hands in the field of web series, a format still in the nascent stage in India, but have become worldwide phenomenon, thanks to entertainment companies like Netflix and Amazon Prime Video.
We are just wondering as the web series is based on current crop of politicians, are we going to get to see fictionalised versions of Modi and Rahul in The Ministry.
