Delhi Court asks Google to remove videos against Sikhism

A on Thursday directed Google to remove all videos featuring Sakshi Bhardwaj making offensive comments against Sikhism on YouTube.

The Patiala House has asked Google to remove the hate speeches from YouTube in the next seven days.

G.S. Walia, chief commercial inspector in Northern Railways, moved against Google in August for removal of the offensive videos in circulation on YouTube and injunction against uploading similar videos.

Civil judge Jasjeet Kaur on Thursday passed an ex-parte interim injunction in favour of petitioner Walia.

He also alleged that Google had refused to remove the offensive videos of Bhardwaj from YouTube.

The also issued notice to Google and Police Commissioner on the plea.

The next hearing on the matter is on November 22.

Walia also told the that hate speeches are in circulation on for quite some time, which will exacerbate communal disharmony.
