Congress alleges CBI 'tampered' with evidence in Vyapam scam to save Chief Minister Shivraj Singh Chouhan, other ministers

Day after the CBI gave a clean chit to Madhya Pradesh Chief Minister Shivraj Singh Chouhan in the Vyapam scam, opposition Congress dubbed the investigating agency as “Compromise Bureau of Investigation”. The party also said that it would move court against the CBI and its officers.

The party further alleged that the investigators had "tampered" with the hard disc of a computer seized from an accused in the case which, they said, had a direct reference to Chouhan and other ministers.

Sibal, accompanied by party leaders Vivek Tankha and KTS Tulsi, said the Congress would support the whistleblowers in the case and would "investigate the investigator".
