Oscar-winning actor Eddie Redmayne and his wife Hannah Bagshawe, are expecting their second child together. “Eddie and Hannah Redmayne are delighted to confirm they are expecting their second child,” the 35-year-old actor’s representative said in a statement issued to People magazine.

Eddie and Hannah are already proud parents of 16-month-old daughter, Iris Mary Redmayne. The popular Hollywood couple had tied the knot in December 2014. The theme of their wedding was Winter Wonderland. The ceremony was attended by close friends and family. Just two months later Eddie Redmayne took home the Oscar in the Best Actor category, for his portrayal of Stephen Hawking in The Theory of Everything. In 2016, he had been nominated in the same category again for his role in The Danish Girl, but it was actor, Leonardo Di Caprio who broke his Oscar jinx and finally won the coveted award for his role in The Revenant.

On the work front, Eddie Redmayne is currently working on the sequel of JK Rowling’s Fantastic Beasts And Where To Find Them. The first part of the film, which released in 2016 had won an Oscar earlier this year in the Best Costume Design category. Eddie Redmayne, who had always been a fan of the Harry Potter franchise was thrilled to be a part of Rowling’s magical world. Although the film did not have the three main characters (Harry Potter, Ron Weasley, Hermione Granger), but with the magnificent creatures and the same old background score even if in parts, Fantastic Beasts had a magical charm of it’s own. This was enough to excite a Potterhead who had been thirsting for a new story ever since the last film of the Potter franchise ended in 2011.
