HC hears Junaid's father's plea for independent probe

The and High today heard the arguments on a seeking an independent probe into the lynching of 17-year-old Junaid Khan, who was stabbed to death on a train in June.

The bench of Justice Rajan Gupta fixed November 7 as the next date of hearing in the case.


Junaid's father Jalaluddin through his counsel Arshdeep Singh Cheema had filed a on October 26, seeking a probe by an independent agency such as the in the case.
