The losing finalist of last season are still fighting to come to terms with their current struggles, as Cleveland Cavaliers went down for the fourth time on the trot, despite their star LeBron James notching up 33 points and 11 points.

Thaddeus Young scored 26 points, Darren Collison had 25 and the Indiana Pacers had every starter scoring in double figures in their 124-107 win over the Cavs.

Alli stars as Spurs sink Real Madrid

Tottenham Hotspur made a statement of intent in their adopted home ground at Wembley as they registered a 3-1 victory against the global powerhouse and defending champions of the Champions League, Real Madrid.

Dele Alli scored twice and Christian Eriksen added a third in their comprehensive victory, which ensured them a place in the knock-out stages of the competition.

Another English club joining them in the last 16 would be Manchester City as they continued their brilliant start to the season with a 4-2 away win against Napoli.

Sergio Aguero became the all-time leading scorer for City when he broke the deadlock with the score reading 2-2.
