Shah Rukh Khan on Dhoom 4 rumours: Haven’t signed any film with YRF

Dhoom is one of the most successful film series of YRF. But as of now, Shah Rukh Khan is not a part of Dhoom 4.

Superstar Shah Rukh Khan on Thursday refuted reports that he signed the next installment of Yash Raj Films’ successful action franchise, Dhoom. SRK has been busy shooting for director Anand L Rai’s film with Katrina Kaif and Anushka Sharma, and that has not left him with any dates at least till December.

“I did not sign any film with Yash Raj, because right now I am oddly busy with Anand’s film. The shooting is taking a little longer time and I want to focus on this and finish before taking up any new project. At the same time, I do not want to waste Katrina and Anushka’s dates as Kat is shooting for Thugs (YRF’s Thugs of Hindostan) and Anushka will start Sui Dhaga,” Shah Rukh told reporters today at the press meet held to mark his 52nd birthday.

Dhoom is one of the most successful film series of YRF. It began in 2004, with John Abraham and Abhishek Bachchan in the lead roles. It was followed by 2006 film Dhoom 2 that had Hrithik Roshan, Aishwarya Rai Bachchan besides Abhishek, who has been a constant in the franchise. The third part released in 2013. It featured superstar Aamir Khan and Katrina Kaif in the principal roles.
