Vishal's 'Irumbu Thirai' confirms Pongal release

The makers of Vishal’s Irumbu Thirai have said in an official statement that the last schedule of the film is progressing at a rapid pace and they are working on a full swing for the grand theatrical release of the film for Pongal.

“Despite rains, we are shooting in the crowded Richie Street in Chennai. We are on track for Pongal release”, said a source close to the team. Samantha Ruth Prabhu plays the female lead in the film and ‘Action King’ Arjun will be seen as the antagonist.

Directed by newcomer Mithran, Irumbu Thirai also has Robo Shankar, Vincent Ashokan, and Delhi Ganesh in important roles. George C Williams of Theri fame is handling cinematography and Yuvan Shankar Raja is taking care of the music department.
