Phoenixville Police ID suspect in Pizza Hut robbery

PHOENIXVILLE >> A man accused of robbing a Pizza Hut has been identified by authorities and a warrant has been issued for his arrest.

Peter James Harkins III, 40, of Phoenixville has been identified as a suspect in an Oct. 29 robbery that was reported at Pizza Hut, 240 Nutt Road.

Police responded to the scene at around 6:49 p.m. and were informed that the suspect entered the business with his right hand inside of a black knit hat and implied he had a weapon. The suspect ordered the clerk to open the cash register and grabbed money from the register. He was last seen in the area of Lincoln Avenue and Milligan Street.

Police said multiple tips from the community helped them identify Harkins as the suspect. An arrest warrant has now been issued.
