BHARUCH: It was a moment to cherish for Mantasha Seth, a class X student of Delhi Public School, Bharuch, when Congress vice president Rahul Gandhi invited her to click a selfie with him.
Mantasha, who is a big fan of Congress scion, was following his convoy from Mohammedpura from where he entered Bharuch.
"I was very excited about Rahulji's visit since the morning when I got to know he is coming to Bharuch. I started following him from Mohammedpura and we had an eye contact when the convoy reached Station Road. He waved at me and gave me a bouquet. Again we had an eye contact in Kasak and I thanked him. The third time we had an eye contact near Sheetal Circle, I requested him for a selfie," Mantasha told media persons.
Gandhi then gave me his hand and helped me climb the bus. "I clicked a selfie with him and we exchanged best wishes."
After clicking a selfie, he even helped her get down from the bus even as a huge crowd cheered the gesture.
Mantasha's father Ibrahim Sheikh is a businessman in Bharuch.
