Trai decision to cut interconnect fees: Who will be the ultimate winner?

India would likely be the only Asian country in 2018 with declining telecom industry revenue, thanks to an unprecedented price competition spurred mainly by new entrant Reliance Jio, rating agency Moody's has said.

In other emerging countries, Moody’s expects growth to be 3.5% in 2018.

The agency’s outlook for the region's telecoms industry is stable, even as technological challenges are apparent.
