How Congress leaders reacted to India's 30-place jump in Ease of Doing Business ranking
Rahul Gandhi, Kapil Sibal and Manish Tewari took to Twitter to express their displeasure with the World Bank ranking

India's 30-place jump on World Bank’s Ease of Doing Business report has invited both appreciation and astonishment.
The report, to which the government reacted with visible glee, comes at a time when the opposition has been criticising Centre's policies and has blamed it for causing a slowdown in the economy. The rankings, released on Tuesday evening, invited a plethora of reactions from Twitter- some good and some bad.
While some poked fun at not being able to digest the fact, others praised it with a pinch of salt.

Despite the cheer, the news continued to draw flak on Twitter from BJP's political opponents.
Earlier today, Congress chief spokesperson Randeep Singh Surjewala pointed out that reports presented by "spin doctor" Jaitley would not change the reality driven by "disastrous" demonetisation and "failed" goods and services tax (GST).'#EaseofDoingBusiness' has become 'Cease of Doing Business'.Reports showcased by spin doctor FM Jaitley ji will not change reality on ground pic.twitter.com/Vh2QhsqJes

Surjewala further went on to say that say that "Jaitley has proved to be the worst FM in India's history" and blamed him for "hiding behind the World Bank reports".
Here's how Rahul Gandhi and other Congress leaders responded to the news on Twitter:
सबको मालूम है “ease of doing business” की हकीकत, लेकिनख़ुद को खुश रखने के लिए "Dr Jaitley" ये ख्याल अच्छा है

Many others have also criticised the ranking system of the World Bank that assessed only two cities- Delhi and Mumbai.
Also it is being said data only for Del/Mum. Perhaps India needs its own wider survey rather than @WorldBank certificate. https://t.co/FQ7h8LvmZp

As a rebuttal, Finance Minister Arun Jaitley stated that there were other tough parameters under which the assessment does not move unless “impact on the ground was visible”.
