Six temple trustees booked for forgery

Surat: Six trustees of Shree Balaji Char Sampraday Temple at Delhi Gate crossroads were booked by Mahidharpura police on Wednesday for allegedly forging documents of the trust. The accused allegedly sold properties of the trust using the forged signatures of other trustees. Those booked include Kanu Patel, Hasmukh Patel, Vinod Patel, Nanu Patel, Satish Rawal and Bhavin Sheth. They were booked following complaint by Dr Dipanshu Mishra. Mishra alleged that the forgery was done between 2013 and 2016. Police are yet to ascertain the worth of properties sold. tnn
