Daisy Ridley, who rose to fame with 2015 'Star Wars
In an interview with V Magazine, Ridley admitted she was a little overwhelmed by the spotlight at first, according to Contactmusic.
She said, "My head was so f****d after the first one came out. It was strange getting back into it, and it felt familiar and comforting. I suddenly felt really seen in a way [after the first 'Star Wars'], which was so weird."
Adding, "Then, back at work, you're just you and it's not a big deal. You're just at work: You're doing your job and everyone else is doing their job. It's just me being me."
The 'Murder on the Orient Express' star also shared that she had no "no sense" of the levels of fame she would encounter before she accepted the role.
"I had no sense of what I was getting into. No sense of what was really going to happen," noted Ridley.
This is not the first time the actress has spoken about her struggle with fame, as she recently admitted she attended therapy to help her cope with the ''crippling'' effects of being noticed in public.
At that time, she also admitted she still calls her mother once a month "in hysterical tears, going, 'I'm not equipped to deal with this!'
It should be noted that Daisy Ridley will be next seen in 'Star Wars: The Last Jedi' alongside Mark Hamill, John Boyega, Oscar Isaacs and late Carrie Fisher.
Helmed by Rian Johnson, the flick is slated to release on December 15.
