Container Corporation Q2 net profit up 41% at Rs 223 cr

Container Corporation of India Ltd today reported 41.2 per cent rise in standalone net profit to Rs 222.94 crore for the quarter ended September 30, 2017.

The company had posted profit after tax of Rs 157.84 crore in the year-ago period, Container Corporation Of India said in a BSE filing.

The company's revenue from operations increased to Rs 1,430.18 crore from Rs 1,360.33 crore in the corresponding quarter of previous fiscal, up 5.13 per cent, the filing said.
