Refined soya oil futures edge up 0.07% on spot demand

Press Trust of India  |  New Delhi

Refined soya prices inched up by 0.07 per cent to Rs 676.90 per ten kg in futures market today as participants built up fresh positions, driven by pick up in demand at the spot market.

At the National Commodity and Derivatives Exchange, refined soya for delivery in November traded marginally higher by 45 paise, or 0.07 per cent to Rs 676.90 per ten kg with an open interest of 33,380 lots.

Analysts said fresh positions built up by traders on the back of rise in demand in the physical market against restricted supplies from producing belts mainly influenced refined soya prices at futures trade.
