BENGALURU: Mercury drops, air is chillier, November is here, and I think winter has arrived. Pack away your summer clothes and bring out those warm suits and jackets. My gut tells me that winter 2017-2018 will be a stylish one, as celebrities have already started suiting up for the cold in sleek crisp separates, cozy knit dresses, sparkles and ankle length boots. Dark colours that are seen every fall and winter are bound to hit the exit button to give way to bright shades. Remember Gigi Hadid’s Barbie pink suit at Milan Fashion Week?

Suit Up
Women suits, first established by Coco Chanel in the 1920s, revolutionized the course of fashion, rendering masculine features to women’s clothing. Today, it is inarguably an attire of up-tight sophistication. Play up this traditional attire with bright colours. Tweed suits are making a comeback. This aristocratic fabric is very durable and keeps you comfortably warm.

Winter Capes
Capes make comebacks almost every winter, and why shouldn’t they? They are a fashionable alternative to coats and jackets.Capes do wonders to accentuate personal style. Pairing a chic cape with thigh-high boots work best for that perfect day look, and look best when worn with jeans.Ski Jackets From the mountains to the runways, ski jackets are now a thing. The high comfort level of ski jackets, added with plus point of keeping the chills at bay, can be paired with sneakers or heels.

Puffer Jacket
Puffer jackets weren’t fashionable before 2017 winter. Vivenne Westwood changed the attitude towards puffer jackets and introduced them in metallic colours.
