Thousands of people across India took part in ‘Run for Unity’ on Tuesday to commemorate the 142nd birth anniversary of freedom fighter and lawmaker Sardar Vallabhbhai Patel. Of the several runs organised across India, Modi flagged off a 1.5 kilometer run from New Delhi’s Dhyan Chand Stadium.
