NEW DELHI: Shares of Bharat Electricals gained over 4 per cent in Tuesday's trade after the company reported impressive numbers for the September quarter.

Following the development, the stock advanced 4.47 per cent to Rs 184 on BSE. It opened at Rs 186 and touched an intraday high and low of Rs 192.50 and Rs 182 respectively, till around 10..45 am (IST).

The company reported consolidated revenue for the quarter came at Rs 2476 crore, registering 38 per cent YOY increase. EBITDA for the quarter rose by 75.8 per cent YOY to Rs 595 crore with a corresponding margin expansion of 517 bps.

The PAT for the quarter was reported at Rs 412 crore, up 19.1 per cent.

Promoters held 67.94 per cent stake in the company as of September 2017.
