NEW DELHI: Shares of LCC Infotech (20 per cent), SEL Manufact (20 per cent), Beta Drugs (20 per cent), Kavveri Telecom (19.80 per cent), Gretex Industries (19.67 per cent), Sujana Towers (19.48 per cent), BAG Films (19.15 per cent) and Total Transport Systems (19.05 per cent) zoomed up to 20 per cent on NSE on Tuesday, defying the bearish market sentiment.

However, shares of Akash Infra-Projects (down 10.95 per cent), Responsive Ind (down 9.32 per cent) and BSEL Infra (down 8.04 per cent) cracked over 8 per cent on NSE.

The benchmark equity index BSE Sensex was 30 points down at 33,236 around 2.55 pm (IST), while the Nifty50 index was 14 points down at 10,349.

In the Nifty pack, 21 stocks were trading in the green, while 29 stocks were in the red.

Nifty PSU Bank, metal, auto and media indices were trading in the red. However, Nifty Realty index was up nearly 3 per cent.

Shares of Axis Bank (up 7.74 per cent), Bharti Infratel (up 3.47 per cent), HCL Tech (up 2.63 per cent), ONGC (up 2.63 per cent), Bharti Airtel (up 0.92 per cent) and BPCL (up 0.90 per cent) stood among the top gainers in the Nifty50 index in Tuesday's trade.

However, UPL Ltd (down 2.98 per cent), Infosys (down 2.13 per cent), SBI (down 2.05 per cent), Vedanta Ltd (down 1.97 per cent), M&M (down 1.87 per cent), Hindalco (down 1.65 per cent) remained the top losers among the Nifty stocks.
