AAP attacks Amarinder over law & order, says 'quit home dept'

The today criticised Chief Minister for allegedly turning a blind eye to "depleted" and order in the state and said he should quit the home department.

The opposition party condemned the killing of Hindu Sangarsh Sena leader Vipin Sharma in Amritsar yesterday and accused Singh of "politicising" the police administration for the "benefit" of leaders.


In a joint press statement, Leader of Opposition Sukhpal Singh Khaira, leader Aman Arora and deputy Leader of Opposition Sarabjit Kaur Manuke alleged the state police had "failed" to stop "political killings".

Singh should give up the home affairs as he has "failed" to perform his duty as the chief of police department, the party said.
