ACB organizes two-wheeler rally to spread awareness

Nagpur: The Anti-Corruption Bureau (ACB), Nagpur range, conducted an awareness rally from Sardar Ballabh Bhai Patel Road Chowk to Yeshwant Stadium on Tuesday as a part of their 'Vigilance week' observation. The rally included ACB officials, police personnel from various units, students, social activists and also NGOs to support the cause and conduct crusade against corruption.


The ACB, which had appealed the citizens through media, got over-whelming response to their rally which was flagged off by city police chief K Venkatesham at Sardar Vallabh Bhai Patel Chowk on Great Nag Road. Traffic, DCP, Ravindra Singh Pardeshi and other police officials too were present during the flagging off ceremony. SP, ACB, PR Patil too was present to motivate the participants of the rally.


Apart from the rally, there were awareness campaigns and lectures by senior ACB officials at AG Office, Maharashtra Animal and Fisheries Sciences University (MAFSU), N-Cops Excellence Academy of city police at Chhaoni in Sadar, and at Dalit Chamber of Commerce and Industries at Sadar.


The ACB has also announced a range of activities, competitions and seminars revolving around the theme of anti-corruption till November 4 later this month during the weeklong schedule. The ACB is also aiming to take their campaigns to colleges and such other institutions.
