VIJAYAWADA: Vice-President M Venkaiah Naidu has appreciated the efforts of ACB officials who unearthed several Disproportionate Assets (DA) cases amounting to more than Rs 1,000 crore in the past one year. Participating as the chief guest at the Vigilance Awareness Week at Vigyan Bhawan at New Delhi on Monday organised by the Central Vigilance Department, Venkaiah said ACB officials in AP had created a record of sorts by bringing more number of DA cases to the fore. While delivering a keynote address, Venkaiah also congratulated ACB DG R P Thakur. ACB officials in Vijayawada thanked the Vice-President and Central vigilance commissioner KV Chowdary for showering praises on them.
