This November may just undo the damage done by a disappointing summer for Hollywood this year. Some of the biggest releases of the year are due this month and it was really difficult to choose just five among them. From two big superhero releases (Thor: Ragnarok and Justice League) to a mystery (Murder on the Orient Express) and a Pixar animated movie (Coco), this month has a lot of variety and something for everyone.

Thor: Ragnarok is the third Thor film and going by reviews that are already in, it is one of the best and funniest Marvel Cinematic Universe movies yet. Thor, Hulk, Loki and Valkyrie team up to defeat the goddess of death, Hela, who wants to bring down Ragnarok. Thor does not have his hammer, Mjolnir, that was destroyed by Hela. The movie opens on November 3.

Justice League brings together the most powerful DC superheroes in the vein of Avengers to fight against the invader Steppenwolf and his army of parademons. A formidable villain, Steppenwolf may be a handful for the Justice League especially when Superman is nowhere to be seen. The movie opens on November 17.

It has a steller cast with names like Dan Stevens, Christopher Plummer and Jonathan Pryce. It will hit theatres on November 22.

When a Pixar film releases, there is nobody who can resist the lure, no matter what age they are. Coco is a story of a 12-year-old boy (and his dog) and is a fantasy adventure film. Coco, like almost every Pixar film, is receiving rave reviews already. It opens on November 24 and we can hardly wait.
