BANIKHET|NEW DELHI: BJP national president Amit Shah said there is nobody in the Congress who is not involved in corruption.

Addressing a rally at the foothills of Banikhet in Dalhousie Assembly constituency, Shah attacked the Congress and Himachal Pradesh chief minister Virbhadra Singh.

“In the last five years, the Congress has made Himachal Pradesh number 1 in corruption and gundagardi and embarrassed this devbhoomi,” Shah said.

Shah said whenever there is any mention of corruption in India, Virbhadra Singh’s name is always on top of the list.

He promised that after the BJP forms government in Himachal Pradesh, the state would be made a software hub.

Beginning his tour in Himachal Pradesh, which goes to polls on November 9, Shah directly attacked Congress vice-president Rahul Gandhi, saying that somebody who was involved in a Rs 12-lakh crore scam now had the audacity to question the BJP.

The BJP president recounted his party’s track record in development and said that the BJP government had converted 70 state highways into national highways — improving the connectivity of the hill state.
