Apple growers elated with jump in apples’ produce this season

Apple growers in the Kashmir Valley are delighted with good produce of apples this season. An apple grower from Ganderbal’s Bakura, expressed his content with the increase in agricultural produce compared to the previous season. Besides joy to the dealers and growers, the good produce is offering employment opportunities to the locals here. Horticulture Officer, Anil Kumar, credited regular sprinkling of pesticides, insecticides and favourable climatic conditions for the jump in apples’ produce.
