The AP Tourism Development Corporation (APTDC) has embellished this island resort with attractive features that are bait for fun-lovers. As part of Chief Minister N. Chandrababu Naidu’s dream to transform the State into a major tourism attraction, the tourism authorities have brought in a slew of exciting water sports and adventure games that dot the Krishna River and its surroundings and beckon holiday-makers.
Vanabhojanam
This is the season when families head to mango orchards spread across acres of lands on city outskirts for traditional vanabhojanams.
Bhavani Island provides a perfect setting for picnickers as it not only provides loads of fun amidst greenery but also spares women of the kitchen drudgery.
Sending public mood, the APTDC has rolled out special Karthika Maasam packages for people visiting the island. The packages include food and fun factor.
If the island offers adventure games like Burma Bridge, country swings and balancing wall, the river is dotted with a string of water rides and river cruise.
