The National Investigation Agency will file a status report in the Love Jihad case today. The NIA will inform the court that it has not been able to question the woman in question as it has been informed by the father that she is not in the right frame of mind.

The NIA will also tell the court that it has recorded the statement of seven other women after it was found that there were some cases of forcible conversion.
The case cropped up after the Kerala High Court annulled the marriage of Akhila alias Hadiya. The NIA says that it has not been able to question the lady even once.
We are yet to question Akhila as her father told us that she was not ready to face the investigators yet. We will be filing a status report before the Supreme Court, the NIA official said.
