Chhattisgarh govt committed to improve sports infrastructure: Raman Singh

Chhattisgarh chief minister Raman Singh chaired a cabinet meeting in Raipur. Raman Singh has approved to grant special relaxation in academic and physical qualifications to the local youth for the recruitment of police officers in the Bastar district. Chhattisgarh government has approved State Sports Policy 2017. The policy has been prepared keeping in mind the goal of bringing Chhattisgarh on top among all other states. Minister for Revenue and Higher Education, Prem Prakash Pandey said that in the vision of Chhattisgarh government it is important to create a game-friendly atmosphere in the state. The CM has approved 15 percent reservation in the recruitment of Assistant Reservatives and increased the remuneration of Rs. 1,000 to Rs. 5,300. Minister Pandey said that special efforts will be made to promote sports activities in the state. Pandey said the age limit along with the academic and physical qualifications of local candidates has been relaxed in the appointment of Arakkor Cadre in Bastar Revenue division. This will be applicable for both the district police force and the Chhattisgarh Armed Forces.
