Charcoal worth Rs 29 lakh seized

The third raid was carried out at Goyala village of Abdasa taluka
RAJKOT: Acting on a tip-off, Bhuj rapid response (RR) cell raided three places and seized illegal charcoal worth Rs 29.46 lakh on Saturday night. Four persons were arrested in this connection.
The first raid was conducted at Mokra village of Abdasa taluka where police arrested Mohan Bhanushali (50) who was found in possession of 1,040 gunny bags of charcoal worth Rs 3.64 lakh. In the second raid, at Eda village of Abdasa taluka, Isaq Paiyya (30) was arrested with 1,800 gunny bags of charcoal worth Rs 6.39 lakh and Ahmed Paiyya (48) was arrested with 980 bags of charcoal worth Rs 3.43 lakh.
