Trump Hotel Group Welcomes Mike Cowell as Vice President of Acquisitions and Development

NEW YORK (October 27, 2017) – Trump® Hotel Group, a global hospitality enterprise with an unparalleled history of providing extraordinary customer experiences, today announced the addition of Mike Cowell as vice president of acquisitions and development.

With over 30 years of industry experience, Cowell will be responsible for expanding the Trump Hotel Group portfolio which includes the Trump Hotels™, American IDEA™ Hotels and SCION™ Hotels and Resorts brands.

For nearly 25 years, Cowell worked with Carlson Rezidor Hotel Group, most recently as Vice President of Development, responsible for negotiating license agreements and management contracts for the group’s full-service brands. He also held various management positions with Radisson Hotels, Adams Mark Hotels and Hyatt Hotels. 

Cowell joins Trump Hotel Group from Dream Hotel Group, where he served since 2014 as Vice President of Business Development responsible for expanding the company’s portfolio through brand management contracts, asset management and third-party operator agreements.
