Suspected of theft, Dumka man lynched

DUMKA: A 28-year-old man was beaten to death near Barapalasi under Jama police station of Dumka district, after villagers suspected that he was attempting to steal a motorcycle.
Police said a villager caught the deceased red-handed while he was attempting to steal a motorcycle and raised an alarm. Villagers who gathered there later beat him up till he died. Police said the deceased is yet to be identified.
