EPL: Tottenham shred Liverpool 4-1, Arsenal hammer Everton 5-2

Harry Kane scored twice for Tottenham in a 4-1 win over Liverpool yesterday that left the Merseyside club's EPL title hopes in tatters. Earlier, Arsenal thrashed 10-man Everton 5-2 to send the Toffees into the relegation zone. Kane struck early in each half (4th, 56th minute), while goals from Son Heung-Min (12th minute) and Dele Alli (45th minute), with Mohamed Salah netting in the 24th minute. Spurs move level on points with second-place Manchester United, five points below leaders Manchester City, while Liverpool are 12 points off the pace in eighth place.

Meanwhile, Arsenal rallied after Wayne Rooney opened scoring for Everton in the 12 minutes. The visitors levelled with a goal from Nacho Monreal in the 40th minute. Mesut Ozil netted the second goal for Arsenal eight minutes into the second half. Everton's Idrissa Gueye was sent off in the 68th minute for his second foul. With 16 minutes to go, Alexandre Lacazette scored the third for Arsenal, while Aaron Ramsey added the fourth in the 90th minute. Alexis Sanchez scored the fifth goal in the last minute to make it 5-2.
