I must thank Rajinikanth sir, who acted in extreme hot climatic conditions by wearing heavy suits in the film. Despite his health condition and age, Rajini sir didnt complain much. Even after seeing many victories, Rajini sir still gives his best to do something different from others, said Shankar.
Among all his films, Akshay Kumar will be seen completely in a different avatar in 2 Point 0. He worked hard and it took nearly 4 to 5 hours for the makeup process, added Shankar.
Rahman has worked more than 1.5 years for the songs of the film. His contribution in the background score will be even bigger, said Shankar, who added that the film has extensive CG works and technicians from Hollywood are working 24*7 to deliver the output.
Late lyricist Na Muthukumar has penned a song in the film in one night and later, Rahman composed the music for his lines. Muthukumar said that the situation gave him sleepless nights and the next morning, he delivered the lyrics. But sadly, he is not with us to listen to the track, said Shankar on an emotional note.
Shankar thanked Lyca Productions for spending more than 350cr for the film. Its not easy for a producer to spend more than 350cr for a Tamil films, thanks a lot to my producer Subaskaran of Lyca Productions, said Shankar.
