Indian Council For Cultural Relations to organise an international conference

JAIPUR: Indian Council For Cultural Relations (ICCR),a body under the ministry of external affairs and the Jaipur based literary -cum cultural body Prakrit Bharti Academy will jointly organise an international conference Aparagiraha: Philosophy, Practice and its relevance in the era of consumerism". Riva Ganguli Das, Director General of ICCR will inaugurate the two-day conference at Kanoria College Auditorium on Saturday.


Jaipur : Principal secretary health Veenu Gupta reviewed the achievement of mission Indradhanush launched in October. She said that from November 7 to November 11, health department will launch second phase of the mission in 11 districts and Jaipur first and Jaipur second.


Jaipur: A city-based artist, Surendra Pal Joshi, who hails from Garhwal in Uttarakhand, received a rare distinction by the Uttrakhand government as Joshi's 55 artworks including paintings, drawings, photos and art installations have been showcased in the government-built Uttara Musem of contemporary art in Dehradun. "It is a rare honour for me as it's the country's first museum that is dedicated to a single artist. I have also tried to chronicle the 2013 Uttarakhand disaster through my artworks" Surendra Pal Joshi said here at a press meet.
